This is a long review as the quality of service from this garage was so EXCELLENT it needs a good explanation.

My Bentley GT suffered a starter motor burn out following water getting into the kessy unit and triggering the starter motor until it burnt out. Had the car taken to one of the garages associated with Bentley and the price that they quoted lets just say was a huge amount (5 figures). As a fairly new Bentley owner was not sure if that price was reasonable, so set out to get a couple more quotes. I wanted to get a like for like quote so sent the itemised quote from the main dealer garage without the price to a couple of garages.

One of those garages was The Prasads Automotive Ltd that I found after doing a google search. I did some checks on reviews and got a quote for the repair from them. The quote did surprise me as it was much lower than what the main dealer associated garage quoted me as well as lower than the other garage that gave a quote. I had a lengthy chat with David at The Prasads Automotive Ltd and he sounded like a man that knew exactly what was wrong with my car even without seeing it, as the car was still in the other garage, and told me exactly what needed doing. Learning that David had over 25 years of experience working on Bentleys also helped (I checked him out on LinkedIn too).

I decided to book my car in to The Prasads Automotive Ltd and David arranged for the car to be towed over to him from the other garage and started work on it straight away. The whole engine needed to be taken out to replace the starter motor. Also the interior had to be stripped out as water had got into the interior.

The service that The Prasads Automotive Ltd provided was more than 5 star, with David keeping me informed and updated daily on progress, highlighting any other issues that needed addressing as he gave the car a once over, sending me photos via WhatsApp of things that he found. This level of customer service was above the call of duty and was really appreciated.

I got a couple of other jobs done on the car including service, which was not something I had to do, but thought as the car was in the garage, I might as well get the jobs done. Even with the additional works, the price I paid was still significantly lower than the quote from the other 2 garages for the main job.

I got the car back with a full valet done on it and the works was completed ahead of schedule. The overall customer service was EXCELLENT, Quality of work was EXCELLENT, Price was EXCELLENT and great value for money and David was a true PROFFESSIONAL.

I have used David and his team at The Prasads Automotive on a number of occasions to carry out work on my Bentley GT. They have always been professional and kept me fully informed of any costs in advance, as well as well as providing regular updates with photos via WhatsApp. They are extremely competitive when compared to the hourly labour rates of a Bentley main dealership and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Fantastic! I have been looking for so long for an alternative to main Bentley dealers due to their inflated costs and often lack of personal care and attention – I FOUND ALL OF THIS AT PRASADS!

Left the car with them and David called me and went over the detailed quote which was emailed over to me earlier. What made this process easier was all of the additional pictures which he sent to my mobile earlier in the day whilst he was inspecting my car. I was just not expecting that transparency – Bentley never do that!

David explained each line in the quote and I simply responded to the email confirming which work I would like carried out. The next morning David called me to reconfirm jobs to be carried out – amazing how manners and honesty in this day and age get missed from most main dealers who just see us as profit margins.

All in all amazing experience with David and Matthew. Just look at the other cars they are working on and you would realise these are not those typical cowboys ripping people off. Even when I went to collect the car David walked me through the jobs which were completed and even showed me the problems with some parts he had replaced (I love cars so found it interesting!)

Should you take your pride and joy to David – YES!

Having bought a Bentley Continental GT I was very keen to ensure I entrusted my repairs to a reliable competent Bentley mechanic who fully understood the technology embodied within this complicated quality car & this I found in Prasads Automotive. I have seen their love for the car and they have shown complete knowledge of all aspects of the vehicle from engine, gearbox, interior and paintwork to name just a few. The main guy David, has first rate experience and years training working with this outstanding car and I have no hesitation in recommending them to any Bentley owner after all why pay Main Dealer prices when Prasads offer even a better service but at a fraction of the cost.

The team were very helpful and David the head engineer was very detailed in his assessment and diagnosis, setting out clear options in creating a forward plan of action. David is passionate about classic cars and has the knowledge and experience to resolve and repair the likes of any Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Jensen. Put simply this is a five star company.

“WOW” Amazing First Class Service from Prasads Automotive. I have owned my GT for many years and always had it maintained from a Bentley Main Dealer . Recently the engine management light came on which was concerning so decided to get it looked at. Unfortunately the main dealers were closed so looked and found Prasads online. I called and spoke to David who asked me to bring the vehicle down the same day (saturday) for him to have a look at what could be wrong. Not knowing David or Prasads I was hesitant but decided to take a chance with an Independant. Best decision I have ever made. The same evening David diagnosed the fault and advised me what he can do to rectify the fault. Fearing the worst I let David loose on the car. What followed was the most efficient , prompt service I have ever received and at half main dealer rates. On monday David ordered the parts and by wednesday I collected my pride and joy. I was so impressed with David & team that I asked him to service the car at the same time and have rebooked the car to have a bit of body work fixed and the interior detailed. All in all one happy customer. And the icing on the cake was when payment time came David said the bill is slightly less as he managed to fix the fault in less time than anticipated. I will never again use anyone else but David and Prasads for all my Bentley needs. Job well done and keep up the good work.

A great family run business,very polite and courteous,they changed the air shocks on my Bentley gtc,they also carried out a health check,I found them to be very professional,a lot cheaper than going to a Bentley main dealership ,I can only give too marks,I can only describe my dealings with them as excellent!

This is a very professional business. The owner and his team spent a huge amount of time detailing the repairs to be completed, putting the car up so I could see underneath what needed to be done. I was kept informed every 2 days with pics of progress I would most certainly recommend them for your Bentley servicing/repairs, they really do care for your car

Very professional service and most importantly run by honest and knowledgeable staff! I would say the service is far more superior to the main dealer. Run by David who is one of the most experienced specialists in Bentley and Rolls Royce! Will recommend them all day long!!

My Bentley GTC broke down and would not start. The emergency service and a local Bentley garage reported the starter motor failed. I was recommended to The Prasads Automotive to replace the Starter Motor as it was an “engine out” job! I contacted The Prasads Automotive and found a very helpful and knowledgeable team. They gave me a guide cost to replace the starter motor and I got the car recovered to their facilities. When my car arrived David received it, took and sent images advising me of its arrival and condition. David advised he will conduct his own diagnostics when it is in the workshop and update. After they had looked at my car they contacted me and advised that the engine didn’t require removal as the starter motor tested okay and they can fixed my issued for a fraction of the estimated cost! I was very surprised, happy and impressed with their integrity and the massive saving. They completed the repairs and final tests and confirmed the car starts perfectly everytime and pointed out some observations on the car! I asked for an estimate which they provided. I found their pricing to be reasonable and instructed them to effect those repairs. They updated me with images and videos as they progressed. On completion as I collected the car, it looked like when I first bought it, like picking up a new car! I was very impressed. As I drove away I felt my car drove better that when I first got it. The Prasads Automotive is an amazing team with great Bentley expertise. They have the skill, facility, integrity and personal touch and delivers excellence!
